SP ED 6510 - Perspectives in the Education of Students with Hearing Impairments

The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge of historical and contemporary philosophies, methodologies, issues, and trends in the education of individuals with hearing impairments. Students will become aware of sociological and psychological implications of hearing impairments, and become familiar with national, state and local organizations serving these children and their families.
