Description
Explores some of the thinkers whose ideas have influenced the course of intellectual thought from Antiquity to the Renaissance and the Age of Reason. Topics such as good and evil, justice, heroism, the quest, God's role in the world, the nature of the state, and the roles of men and women may be addressed. No matter which section students take, they will read powerful and significant texts that help them come to understand the traditions of thought that have helped shape their lives, drawn from the early periods of intellectual thought.
