Description
Surveys the central legal issues involved in the delivery of health care today. Efforts will be made to integrate traditional legal materials drawn from economics, public policy, health administration, and bioethics. Topics coverage will include the provider-patient relationship, informed consent, quality of care, malpractice, health-care organizations, licensing and self-care, witholding and withdrawing care, procreation and abortion, and research with human subjects.
