Description
This course looks at self-care as the basis for healthy authentic relationships. As women, we take care of others every day. But how often do we turn these wonderful nurturing abilities toward ourselves? If we honestly want to nurture the people we care about, we must care for our own needs first. Then we can give from our surplus instead of trying to nurture others from a dry well. When we finally learn that self-care begins and ends with ourselves, we no longer demand sustenance or happiness from others for our well-being. We find the freedom to choose to direct our own lives. Spring Semester: 5 Saturdays 9:00 - 12:30 p.m. -- Sandy Campus
