LLART 105 - Photographic Seeing Workshop

Good photos are all around us, and it doesn't matter whether you capture them with a point-and-click camera or the very latest camera extraordinaire. This class is about seeing photographs, then making images that express some part of yourself and how you view the world. A review of photography's technical aspects will be included; class emphasis, however, is on composition and the art of seeing. Students need the use of a 35-mm camera and color slide film. Bring five of your photos and a camera to the first class.
