Description
A watercolor and sketching class aimed at learning to capture an impression in a watercolor sketch. We will practice making line and value sketches and cover the basics of perspective while sketching the cottages of Park City. The second day we will introduce watercolor to our sketches as a way to make paintings that are quick, spontaneous and courageous. All painting will be on location, so be prepared for sudden changes in weather. Bring a light and compact foldable chair and easily carried art materials, as we will do a lot of walking. Previous experience required. A materials list will be sent to participants. Bring a sack lunch.
