Description
Experience a unique opportunity to explore the word of animation and film making. Throughout the morning film making process, discover life in front of and behind the camera through acting, and directing. Learn new organizational, communication, technical, and computer skills. Develop a new 'critical eye' by combining visual images with sound effects and music. Experience every step of the afternoon claymation process using your own hand-built clay figures and backdrops. Become your own writer, producer, director, and set coordinator. Learn to storyboard ideas, mold clay chaacters, build set designs, and film your creation. Both projects will culiminate in finshed pieces that will be screened at Spy Hop and outputted to VHS or DVD to be enjoyed at home or even submitted to local or national children's film festivals.
