Description
Join in an artistic adventure investigating sculpture and 3-D artwork. Visit and participate in discussions about artwork displayed at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts and other locations on campus. Use the museum's collection and the other work viewed as a platform to create your own awe-inspiring sculptures. Discuss different artistic mechanisms that can be incorporated into your own work. Together we will discover different components of art such as line, form, style, negative space, and various mediums. We will also investigate such things as volume and mass through figurative and abstract forms. Learn what makes sculpture fascinating and why certain artists have become famous throughout the centuries. Co-sponsored with the Utah Museum of Fine Arts (Sec 002)
