Take an imaginative, artistic voyage, and discover astonishing art and famous artists! Learn the elements of design and color theory while using pencils, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, acrylic paints and sculpture. Join the fun at a student class exhibit. Creative Sculpture:Learn about the ins and outs of working with paper mache, found objects, or other materials to make 3-D art. Using art exhibits as a reference, we will make monumental sculptures out of many diverse materials. Learn about impressionable substances and how to manipulate them to your will.Drawing: Explore elements of design, and stimulate your imagination in the process. Learn a variety of drawing techniques while learning to sketch amazing characters (yourself!) and others. Complete projects that help you draw what you see. Painting:Create memorable masterpieces while discovering the fundamentals of design, color, and composition. Students stimulate their imaginations as they practice using a variety of basic painting techniques and mediums. Paint representational objects from nature, animals, or still life. Travel into the unknown and paint pure designs or perhaps the subjects of your daydreams.
