Description
This intense course in algebra is an expansion of the elementary algebraic concepts that involve a study of quadratic equations and their graphs. Systems of equations are solved, and logarithmic functions are briefly studied. Real number exponents and complex numbers are investigated and proficiency with the algebra of polynomials and rational functions is developed. (Each section is recommended for one semester math core credit. The two sections should be taken consecutively for a full year of high school credit.)
