ECS 7616 - History of Women's Education in the United States

Meets with ECS 6616. A historical and philosophical study of how the education of women has been understood in the United States. Addresses competing assumptions regarding purposes, values and standards with regard to class, race, and place. Students enrolled in 7616 will be expected to meet a higher standard of performance and may be assigned additional work.
