Description
Massage is comforting, relaxing, and pleasurable; it enhances both intimacy and communication between partners, reduces stress, and helps prevent and heal injuries. Learn Swedish massage basics in this hands-on class as you explore touch with your partner. We'll also cover setting up your environment, responsibilities of the giver and receiver, and when not to massage. We will be working on the floor; please bring two or three bed pillows and a mat/blanket and sheet to lie on, and a blanket/sheet for warmth. We will be working through minimal clothing to encourage skin to skin contact. Please wear shorts and a tank top or jog bra, bring drinking water, and leave your jewelry at home. Pregnant women are welcome and should bring extra pillows for support. You will be provided with massage oil to take home.
