Description
In this class students will learn who earns benefits, how benefits are administered, and who will pay for the benefits. Students will learn how benefits can be a valuable tool for recruitment and retention, and strategies to maximize value for each dollar spent. Policies and Procedures can serve many important purposes but they can also create and perpetuate risk if not properly administered. Learn the advantages and disadvantages and the goals of good HR policies and procedures, and discover the absolute 'must have' policies needed in any organization. Issues like equal opportunity, sexual harassment, anti-discrimination, work rules, and other important issues will be discussed. This Program has been approved for recertification credit hours toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
