YEART 400 - Intensive Art Seminar (Age 6-8 & 9-11)

Experience the most intense art class on the planet. Let your imagination run wild as you use a variety of materials in your artwork. If you can dream it up, you can use it in your art. Start off with a journey back in time to discuss famous artists and their works. Continue on with in-depth discussion of design and color theory. Then dive in and start creating your own masterpieces. Different techniques covered include: charcoal, watercolors, acrylic paint, graphite, pastels and scratch board. Work on sculpture and printmaking. The final day of class is devoted to a student art exhibit. Course content and curriculum is updated each semester so students can continue their artistic progression.
