YEHS 602 - United States Government & Citizenship (Grade 9-12)

Learn how you can be an active, effective, and knowledgable citizen of your community, state, nation, and world. Study how people exercise power through politics and government. Explore ways in which you can affect the ways that political leaders shape your life. Meet some people who are active in public life and share your concerns with them. You will never view the news the same way and you may just decide to get more involved in your community. If you would like to do these things and also meet the requirements of the new high school course in U.S. Government and Citizenship, then this is the class for you.
