Description
It's alive! Let the mad scientist in you take over for a week as you conduct crazy science experiments. There are no boring lectures or homework, just a week for you to discover how things work by performing hands-on investigations. You?ll also stretch your imagination by visiting the Clark Planetarium and other locations at the University of Utah. Gain a deeper understanding of the world through your own experiments. Electives for 6-9 year olds might include kitchen science, natural science in the great outdoors, the world of color and natural dyes in native weaving, or science at the Tracy Aviary or at the Museum of Natural History. Electives for 10-12 year olds might include, learning how to design and assemble contraptions, exploring chemical reactions, creating new inventions, or conducting various experiments.
