Description
Take an adventure into Utah's wild, wonderful backyard! Travel to the Great Salt Lake, one of the largest inland salt water lakes in the western hemisphere. Have fun by the shore while learning about the lake. Explore landscapes around our valley and search for tracks of the many species that inhabit the valley. Chill with your friends and discover what makes Utah such a cool place. Activities and electives for 6-9 year olds may include Spanish lessons, discovering the birds of Utah through field trips and adventures to the Tracy Aviary, learning compass skills, or rock climbing for those 8 and up. Electives for 10-12 year olds may include learning about horses habits through drawing and interacting with horses, rock climbing, mapmaking, hiking stunning landscapes, or trail mapping and compass skills.
