Description
As web sites become more sophisticated, web designers are finding default HTML display properties increasingly cumbersome. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), a simple mechanism for adding additional display properties to structured documents such as HTML/XHTML, offers greater control and flexibility similar to traditional print layout for a much richer document appearance. By separating the presentation style of documents from the document content, CSS simplifies web authoring and site maintenance. In this hands-on coding class, you learn how to take advantage of CSS for visual formatting, including: text, fonts, colors and backgrounds, boxes and borders, lists, and positioning.
