Description
The purpose of this course is to provide (1) an introduction to general topics relevant to most non-profit organizations, and (2) a focused study of issues specific to community based non profits, particularly those organizations involved in policy development and implementation. The course will cover basic theories of non-profit management, structure, fundraising, budgeting, marketing, law, and a more specific investigation into goal development, strategic planning, and implementation actions related to community based non-profits. Meets with FCS 5450.
