Prerequisite: NURS 3261 and NURS 4270 and NURS 3002 and NURS 3015 and NURS 3025 and concurrent enrollment or previous completion of NURS 3515.
This clinical course focuses on nursing assessment and clinical management of adults with acute and chronic physical illness. Students integrate principles of pathophysiology and therapeutic interventions in managing patients with various disease process. Cultural, psychological and developmental dimensions are addressed in nursing care. The nurse-client relationships emphasized.
