Description
In this class students will learn in depth about health benefits, which constitute an average of 90% of typical benefit cost, who earns the benefits, how those benefits are administered, and who will pay for those benefits. Students will learn how health benefits can be a valuable tool for recruitment and retention, and strategies to maximize value for each dollar spent. Policies and procedures can serve many important purposes but they can also create and perpetuate risk if not properly administered. Learn the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the goal of good HR policies and procedures.
