Description
Populated by a congenial mix of working cowboys and artists, historic Spring City is the perfect setting for a creative retreat. Its rural landscape, Victorian and Pioneer homes and rustic outbuildings, and neighborly feel naturally encourage the mind and prime the creative process. Enjoy the setting and your fellow artists as you submerge yourself in a weekend of painting with oil or acrylics. The workshop will begin at 2:00 pm on Friday. Participants will paint from 2:00-5:00 pm each day and from 9:00 AM to noon on Saturday and Sunday. Special fee includes two nights double-occupancy lodging in a beautifully restored 19th-century home (single-occupancy available for an additional fee). Furnished kitchens are available for cooking, or you may dine out; Spring Ctiy's new cafe is within walking distance and features yummy homemade food at very reasoanble prices. All levels, from beginner to advanced, are encouraged to attend. You are responsible for your own materials; please contact Lifelong Learning should you need a list. Attendance is limited to 12.
