Description
Fun, connected, musical-Argentine tango is improvisation in a walking embrace that works for social dancing. Unlike ballroom-style tango, Argentine tango is grounded in natural movement. It can be large and dramatic but often is small, compact, and rhythmic. Representative of the tango from South America, the Argentine Tango was danced in the movie Evita. This introductory series explores partner connection, improvisation and navigation. Classic tango music and social dance etiquette are introduced. No partner is required and no previous dance experience is necessary.
