Description
This course will review fundamental aspects of genetic engineering and molecular biology, followed by cells as a system. The second half of the semester will cover drug transport and effect from a systems physiology to a cellular level. Pharmacokinetics will be taught with emphasis on understanding compartmental and non-compartmental modeling, physiologic modeling, and cellular drug transport to characterize the effectiveness of drug delivery systems.
