Description
Learn the basics of knitting using American and continental knitting styles. The first class will focus on knitting, purling, and casting on and off. In the second session, you'll learn increases, decreases, and pattern reading. With the fundamentals under your belt, you may then complete a project of your own such as a scarf, hat, or felted French market bag. Please bring one skein of worsted-weight wool and size 8 needles to the first class. Jill has been knitting since 1987; she is the former president of the Salt Lake Knitting Guild.
