Description
The beauty of yoga is that once you learn the basics, you can enter any class and practice safely and effectively at your own level. But you must first learn the basics! In this class, you will be introduced to the primary yoga poses with an emphasis on form, function, and the development of breath work-all essential to a good yoga practice. Great for beginners or those who would like to move more slowly, relieve stress, or refine their foundation. Like all of our yoga classes, this class is designed to be taken as many times as you wish.Erin has an MA in English and is a PhD student at the U. She holds certificates in yoga through D'ana Baptiste and in Moo Gong Do, a Korean martail art. Registering for this class buys you a 10-punch card that is good for any of our three yoga classes (Fundamentals, Soft Flow, Pranayama or Pilates) up to a total of 10 classes. If you use up your card simply purchase another; cards are good for 3 months. Punch card holders will be given a class schedule calendar for easier reference.
