Description
For the child, play is serious, purposeful, and useful as a tool for knowing about the world. Play is essential for healthy development mentally, physically, and socially. Play also serves as language for children, a practice for life in which they can work through confusion, anxieties, and conflicts. This play therapy course includes theory, techniques, and issues related to group, individual, and family play therapy. This course will provide an integrated program for learning the fundamental principles and practice of play therapy through lectures, discussion, and interactive processing with peer learners.
