LLART 168 - Landscape Photography

A stunning landscape has the power to fill the viewer with awe. But how does one transfer the emotion of a scene to a photographic image? Learn the techniques and tricks master photographers use to generate landscape images that fill the viewer with admiration. Using a dynamic combination of traditional landscape photography and impressionistic and abstract styles, this class will cover both technical and aesthetic considerations in detail. Our concentration will be on controlling your camera's operation to achieve desired technical results while building your composition and visual skills. We'll view and discuss the work of master landscape photographers and shoot outdoors in picturesque Park City. Beginners are welcome. Please bring the digital or film camera (with film) of your choice to each class. Please be familiar with the basic workings of your camera.
