Description
Meets with BALLE 4430. This is a studio-based course, the purpose of which is to introduce students to the classical, i.e. established and accepted worldwide, choreography of character dances (varies each term) in classical ballets, such as Swan Lake, Raymonda, Don Quixote, and Coppelia among others. In addition, graduate students are required to assume the role of ballet master, researching historical aspects, choreographic differences, staging nuances, and exploring the rehearsal process among other responsibilities.
