Field Work
Description
This course provides an opportunity for Environmental Studies students to meet each other, in a field-research setting, and discuss a major environmental issue. The class will be held over a three-day weekend at the Entrada Ranch (or similar setting) each fall semester. The class will take at least one field trip to a local area or environmental interest. This class is open to all interested students, but is required for all Environmental Studies majors. Each year the class will focus on a particular environmental issue that is of interest to the region where the class is being held. Local stakeholders will be invited to address the students and engage in dialogue.
