Description
International patterns of disease in human populations are of primary importance as we move into a global culture. This class will cover epidemiological concepts and processes relative to international and national (U.S.) health, wellness, and disease. Statistical and mathematical concepts are applied to patterns of mental and physical illness incidence, transmission, risk, and prevalence. Topics include community as clients, interaction among and between sectors in the community, and health-related concerns of communities.
