T L 5320 - Reading Methods 4-6

Meets with TL 6320. The purpose of this course is to assist students in learning about reading development, grades 4-6. Major topics include: phonics, spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Students will learn how to differentiate instruction and also how to conduct informal assessment to make instructional decisions. A field component is required.
