Description
Typically compensation programs are fairly uniform across all jobs in an organization. However, not all jobs fall into the typical compensation structure. This day long seminar takes a look at employee groups that receive compensation that is anything but common. We will look at five special groups of employees whose pay presents a special challenge for human resource professionals: Executives, Salespeople, High Tech Engineers and Scientists, Contingent Workers, and International Employees. Is compensation for these jobs determined in the same way that compensation is determined for other jobs in the company? The answer is probably no, But why? You will learn the special role these people play in an organization, the logic of compensation practices for these special groups, as well as learn about the distinctive compensation practices adopted to meet the needs of these special groups.
