Description
The close-up world is a magical place. Flowers become abstract works of art, rusty doors become textured canvasses, and insects turn into sci-fi creatures. Explore the endlessly imaginative world of macro photography in this four-session class. We will expose you to worlds you may never have noticed--or perhaps couldn't see with your unaided eye--as you learn to use existing camera gear to make spectacular macro photographs. We'll work indoors and out (August 5 and 8 are at Red Butte Garden); beginners are welcome. Please bring the digital or film camera (with film) of your choice to the first class. Please be familiar with the basic workings of your camera. Special fee covers admission to Red Butte Garden.
