Description
You wake up in the morning, stumble to the kitchen, pour a liquid substance into a skillet and turn up the heat. Soon the liquid starts not to boil, but instead to clump together, filling your skillet with some sort of lumpy substance. 'Mmmm! These scrambled eggs are good!' In our brand new summer workshop, we will explore all of the secrets of the kitchen from making lollipops and fudge to homegrown sourdough. Using science and a variety of media such as: baking, sauteing, mixing, whipping, poaching and kneading, the student chefs will taste and compare their daily creations with their peers. We will wrap things up by making our very own toothpaste to ensure there is nothing in your teeth as you walk away smiling!
