YECU 39 - Awesome Arctic Adventures (Age 6-11)

Join us for the fastest growing winter tradition in town. Just because it is snowing doesn't mean you have to be stuck inside. Snowshoe in awesome outdoor locations and search for wild Wasatch animals. See how the flora and fauna live in the wintertime while discovering your own outdoor skills. Weather permitting, student may have an opportunity to make a Quin-zhee or a snow shelter. Learn about the science behind lake effect and why it makes for such sweet skiing. Grab your coat because this Club U adventure will be AWESOME! Electives offered will be dependent on enrollment. Electives may include natural science, visiting the Natural History museum, scavenger hunts, map making or cross country skiing.
