Description
People often choose vegetarianism for health reasons, yet neglect to supply their diet with the proper balance of protein, fats, and carbohydrates and the nutrients they need to be truly healthy. In this class we'll look at universal principles of good nutrition, then focus on nutritional challenges that are specific to non meat eaters. We will also discuss the pros and cons of nutritional supplements. You will receive sample menus with nutritional breakdowns.
