Description
The course will provide graduate students with theory and application of linear regression methods for data analysis. It will cover the usual simple and multivariable linear regression topics, including model building, interpretation and assessment. Techniques for multivariate regression, data reduction, and classification will be introduced and strategies for evaluating classifiers will be provided. The focus of the class will be applied with emphasis on using and understand the results of statistical software to do analysis.
