Prerequisites: Admitted to a Program in the Division of Public Health.
Description
This course will cover an in-depth presentation of the foundational knowledge required of all PhD students by the Council for Education in Public Health. The practical application of this knowledge will be stressed through case studies. Students’ understanding of the disparate aspects of public health will be demonstrated through individual, in-depth analyses of a public health issue from epidemiological, social, policy and programmatic perspectives.
