Description
Field Practicum applies social work theories and models to agency practice with diverse populations and identities. In first-year practicum, students apply a generalist perspective to develop ethically competent practice in micro, mezzo, and macro areas of social work under the supervision of an approved field instructor. Students will enter practicum after completing a practicum foundations seminar, and gain social work skills that incorporate inclusive, just and culturally responsive intervention strategies utilizing a developmental perspective and applying social work specific knowledge, values, and skills.
