Description
The Qualifying Exam (QE) assesses a student’s suitability for advancement to Doctoral Candidacy. Students will enroll in this course while preparing written and oral products submitted for the QE. During enrollment, students will complete assigned QE components administered by the student’s QE Committee according to the Ph.D. Handbook of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. By the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate a level of knowledge and scientific reasoning commensurate with that required to undertake the doctoral dissertation.
