Description
This graduate course provides students an advanced understanding of building systems and assemblies (environmental control systems, structural systems, life safety systems, building envelope and materials), so that students can evaluate conditions and context in order to choose and integrate appropriate technological solutions for architectural design problems. The course is integrated with a graduate design studio, and students are expected to apply knowledge obtained in this course to their design projects and assess building performance aspects. Students must concurrently enroll in ARCH 6015.
