Description
Introduction to methods of teaching inquiry-based science. Emphasis is placed on developing the ability to implement the process of scientific inquiry in the classroom. This course focuses on understanding the nature of science, lesson planning, managing an inquiry-based classroom, student assessment, and methods of inclusive science teaching for diverse student populations. Community/School field hours are expected to be completed as part of this class.
