Description
This course is an introduction to legal, regulatory, ethical and policy issues that are foundational in the scope and jurisdiction of the US Food and Drug Administration –in particular, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, vaccines and biological agents, dietary supplements, tobacco, and food regulation. Course content will expose students to statutes, regulations, guidance policies, case law and other materials which form governmental oversight of these regulated products, industries and technologies.
