Description
This course focuses on the unique constitutional, statutory, and practical facets of federal criminal practice regarding investigation, charging, discovery practice, evidentiary issues, plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing.  This course is primarily intended for those who have field placements with the Federal Defender’s Office, Criminal Justice Act counsel (Mentee Program), and the United States Attorney’s Office. Pre/Co-requisite: LAW 7030 and LAW 7040. Recommended Pre/Co-requisite: LAW 7900.
