Description
This course is a quantitative survey of the appli- cations of probability and statistics in the economic analysis of business decision-making. This course is taught at a mathematically advanced level; calculus is a pre-requisite and is used throughout. The course is intended for students enrolled in or considering the QAMO major at the David Eccles School of Business. This course will also provide an introduction to python, which is a modern statistical computing software. This course will satisfy the statistics requirement for QAMO 4651 (Econometrics I).
