Prerequisites: Admitted to NUIP Masters Program OR Instructor Consent
The supervised practice experience is part of an ACEND* accredited program that provides dietetic students the opportunity to apply skills in clinical practice, food service management, and community settings under the supervision of qualified preceptors. Students in the Coordinated Masters Program in Dietetics must complete 1000 hours of supervised practice to be eligible for the National Registration Exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Students enrolled in 10 credits will complete 560 hours of the supervised practice requirement. *Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
