Description
Join us for an immersive plunge into fly fishing. The world of fishing is incredibly vast, and you'll get a splash of all the considerations for fishing including river assessment, gear selection, casting techniques, knots, and fly selection. Not sure you're ready to invest in fly fishing gear? Don't worry, your instructor will direct you to rentals. Bring the equipment you do have to your first class (yes, all of it). On Saturday, join your guide for a day on the river to be taught by the true experts of fly fishing--the trout. For the day on the river, you'll be responsible for providing a rod, additional flies, fishing license, sack lunch, polarized sunglasses, and either waders and boots or clothes and shoes that can get wet. The day on the river is physical and requires wading with slippery rocks and strong currents. Students will fish with the instructor for half of Saturday's class and practice independently for the other half.
