Description
This year-long course (LAW 7937 & 7938) prepares students who are enrolled in the year-long Criminal Process Externship to handle criminal cases. It also explores the criminal justice system from various social science perspectives and the role of attorneys in that system. This course is open only to 3Ls who are concurrently enrolled in Field Placement Credit for a one-year criminal placement. COREQUISITE: Field Placement . PREREQUISITES: Evidence; Criminal Procedure: Investigation. RECOMMENDED PRE: Trial Advocacy, Criminal Procedure: Adjudication. Counts toward the experiential education requirement.
